What BookLikeJoël is

BookLikeJoël is an award-travel comparison and monitoring tool. It shows award (points) prices that airline loyalty programs have published for a route and date, so you can see which program prices a seat lowest. It is not a travel agency, it is not an airline, and it does not sell, reserve, hold or issue airline tickets. Any airline booking happens on the airline or loyalty program's own website, under that company's terms.

Accuracy of the prices shown

Award availability and mileage prices change constantly and are controlled entirely by the airlines and loyalty programs. Results may come from cached partner inventory and can be out of date by the time you see them. We do not guarantee that any result is still available, still priced as shown, or bookable at all.

Always confirm the exact flight, mileage price, taxes and seat count with the loyalty program before you transfer any points. Points transfers between banks and airlines are normally one-way and irreversible. Do not transfer points on the strength of a result shown here alone.

Searches, credits and JPS monthly access

The regular BookLikeJoël site may offer prepaid search credits. One completed paid search uses the applicable credit. If a search fails because of a provider or system error, the site is designed not to consume that search credit.

JPS monthly access is a recurring monthly service sold through the BookLikeJoël website. Active monthly access includes eligible JPS live-search and watch features. The price, billing interval and any promotional terms are shown on Stripe's secure checkout page before you confirm. The service renews on its stated billing interval until canceled. You can ask customer support for help with billing or cancellation.

Search credits and watch credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are for your own personal use. Reselling credits, JPS access or search results is not permitted.

A JPS watch

A JPS watch performs verified checks of award availability for the trip you described over a defined window and can notify you when a matching seat is seen. Watch access may be provided through active JPS monthly access, an eligible free grant, or a previously issued watch credit. The watch itself does not hold, reserve, book or pay for a seat, and it cannot guarantee a reported seat is still available when you act on it.

A watch pauses for Shabbos and Yom Tov and resumes after havdalah. Paused time does not consume scheduled checks and the service window is adjusted according to the watch rules.

Where JPS points you to a third party — for example a kosher directory, certification agency, minyan finder or map — it is passing you to that organization's own information. We do not verify kashrus, opening hours, or every listing they publish. Confirm kashrus with the certifying agency or your local Rav.

ChatGPT and other third-party interfaces

BookLikeJoël may make JPS features available through third-party interfaces such as ChatGPT. Those interfaces can let an existing JPS customer authenticate and use eligible features, but they do not make OpenAI, the interface provider, an airline, travel agent, or seller of JPS access. Additional platform rules may limit which links, purchase flows, or features are displayed there.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to scrape results, circumvent access entitlements or payment, probe or interfere with the service's security, or use the service to break an airline or loyalty program's terms. Automated access is permitted only through interfaces that BookLikeJoël expressly provides or authorizes, such as its published MCP integration. We may suspend access that appears abusive or unauthorized.

Third parties and trade marks

Airline and loyalty program names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify the program a result belongs to. BookLikeJoël is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any airline, loyalty program or bank. Where the website provides links to third-party sites, those sites are governed by their own terms and privacy rules.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost points, transferred points, missed fares, price changes, booking failures, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and this does not affect statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
